About

Dylan Rouda

Dylan Rouda (Born June 12,1996), is an American singer/songwriter and indie acoustic pop/rock recording artist originally from Columbus, Ohio. For the better part of his teen years, he has been living and working in Malibu and Laguna Beach, California. Dylan’s first encounter with music was at the early age of 6, when he picked up his very first set of drum sticks. Four years later at age 10, his multi-instrumental talent surfaced and he began singing, songwriting, and playing the acoustic guitar. It was then that he began writing original songs. It is safe to say he is a self-taught musician with a raw gift, unbelievable work ethic, and undeniable talent.

One year ago to date (November 2013), Dylan released his first self-titled EP, which was produced by Grammy Nominated producer/songwriter/vocal arranger, Steve Russell (Jennifer Hudson, Chris Brown, Jordan Sparks). Russell’s ” traditional ” recording style immediately caught Dylan’s attention and made his first recording experience unforgettable. After releasing the first single ” Can’t Tell a Lie,” off his original self-titled EP in January 2014, Rouda returned to the studio to continue his musical development. Over the past 12 months, he has worked alongside many credible music producers and songwriters, and has co-written a variety of new original tunes, which will drop as singles throughout the first and second quarters of 2015.

In the summer of 2014, Dylan Rouda began working with his neighborhood recording studio (Laguna Sound Studio), and it was the LSS team that originally discovered Rouda, and made the introduction to his current music industry representatives at DNT Entertainment. Since signing to DNT in July 2014, Dylan has worked very hard juggling the work load from his senior year of high school and his emerging music career. With the support of his family, friends, fans, and team, Dylan has successfully independently released his new hit single ” Polaroid Picture,” which is quickly creating buzz in the digital sphere.

Friday, November 7th, was the official release date of ” Polaroid Picture,” which was co-written by Eric Berdon. The official music video was co-directed by Dani Thompson and Allie Marion of DNT Entertainment, Rick Craft as Director of Photography, and edited by Scott Stevenson. The evening of the single release, a digital hash-tag Instagram takeover took place, which has launched an immediate virtual viral trend.
